Firstly, fear not, you don’t need to travel to Canada. The world tour brings all the best of mountain films from the Banff Centre Mountain Film and Book Festival to audiences around the globe!

This year looks set to be the biggest yet here in the UK and, after 6 years of attending, I am just as excited as the first time.

Not once have I left without feeling inspired, or wanting to pick up some kind of new sport.

Maybe not this one though…

It usually lasts around 3 hours and is filled with everything form climbing to kayaking. I laugh, I cry, I am in awe of incredibly inspiring people and their amazing adventures.

On top of this, you have the chance of winning some incredible prizes at the screening, given away by partners of the tour. This could be anything from a pair of walking boots to a shiny new pack!
