The North Face Women’s 100 Glacier Quarter Zip Fleece: Review

“Kate, you couldn’t possibly need any more fleeces“, I hear you proclaim!

Wrong.

You can never have enough outdoor gear.

I am a testament to this, my spare room currently looks like an outdoor shop exploded.

I was recently sent The North Face Women’s 100 Glacier Quarter Zip Fleece by Simply Hike, and have to say I am a little bit in love…

Firstly, apologising for the photo quality. My camera decided to wipe all the ones I had my friend take for me, and I couldn’t put this post off any longer whilst I waited for another friend to find time, so they ended up this way!

I have been living in this fleece recently, it’s kept me warm overnight on Dartmoor in an unexpected thunderstorm – find out more here – and it recently accompanied me to Snowdon.

I am a little bit in love, and it has fast become a staple in my daysack when I’m heading out and about. It’s light, it’s soft, it fits really well and packs down very small.  Despite being thin the

Polartec® fleece makes it very warm!

It has elastic binding on the hem, collar and cuffs as well, which I’m a huge fan of, as it stops the fleece riding up whilst walking, and stops the sleeves falling down if you roll them up.

It comes in two colours, TNF Black and Amparo Blue and retails for £40 usually, which is great value for money as this really is a wonder fleece!

If you head over to Simply Hike there are a few left (be quick) at only £29.50.

* I was sent this fleece to review by Simply Hike, but as ever it’s my honest opinion!
